Bombay Bicycle Club announce huge Earls Court show
Bombay Bicycle Club 14/07/2014
Riding on the wave of a No.1 album, North London’s most sublime four-piece Bombay Bicycle Club today announce a huge live show at what will be London’s Earls Court Arena on December 13th 2014. The capital’s largest and most iconic venue, this will the last ever show at the space before it closes its doors for good.
The band are honoured to perform at the arena which, since its opening in 1937, has seen some of the biggest names in music grace its stage, such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen and David Bowie. More recently the arena has played host to the likes of Muse, Arctic Monkeys and Arcade Fire. Now, the diversely talented Bombay Bicycle Club will be written into history alongside these iconic artists for what is set to be one of their most exciting live performances to date.
The band teamed up with their keyboard player Louis Bhose to make a tongue-in-cheek announcement video inspired by Armando Iannucci’s Time Trumpet.
Guitarist Jamie MacColl says: “We seized at the chance to play one of London’s most historic and important venues. This will be our first arena show so will be a momentous night for the band – just thinking about it gets the adrenaline rushing!”
Tickets are available from 9am on Friday 18th July here
