Singer/songwriter Cosima was born and raised in Peckham, South London, and by age 22 had already made a huge impression in the industry. Her refined, soulful sound has found the rising star for 2017 (Daily Telegraph) being compared to the legendary Sade, as well as receiving widespread media acclaim.

Her story as a solo artists begins with debut single ‘Had To Feel Something’, a fantastic, introspective and clever piece of songwriting which also enabled Cosima to flex her muscles as a budding director in her first self-directed music video.
Second and third singles ‘Girls Who Get Ready‘ and ‘Hymns For Him‘ not only ccnsolidated Cosima’s sultry, confident sound, but allowed her to develop her aesthetic as a visual artist, as she continued to take the reigns as director on music videos for both tracks.
The end of 2016 saw Cosima “cement her position as an artist to look out for” (RWD Mag) with the release of audio-visual mixtape ‘South Of Heaven’, about which she says in her own words:
“I consider myself very lucky as I am allowed to frame myself in a world where women/artists don’t always get to. I learn more with each video I direct because I get to work with teams of people who are passionate and incredible at what they do. A few weeks ago I was going through the Hymns For Him footage before it went to edit, when it struck me that I have all this beautiful footage but can only ever use about 3minutes of it. I couldn’t leave it on the cutting room floor so I decided to create a visual mixtape with old and new footage. I hope you enjoy it.”
