The last 2 years have seen Hozier establish himself as one of the most successful and respected musicians in music, following two Billboard Awards, a coveted Ivor Novello, VH-1 Artist Of The Year and stunning sets at Glastonbury, Coachella and Red Rocks, among other summer festival highlights. The quartet of awards, together with his Grammy, BRIT, AMA and MTV Video music award nominations, and feverishly received live shows pay testament to the absolutely incredible rise Hozier has enjoyed since he began making noises on the music scene a little over two years ago.  His critically acclaimed debut album entered the Billboard chart at number two (the second biggest debut album of the year), number five in the UK chart, and enjoyed nine weeks at number one in his native Ireland. ‘Take Me To Church‘ also became an undisputed anthem in 2015.

Hozier recently finished off the album campaign for his album with the release of his single ‘Cherry Wine‘.  The song, a highlight from his live show, is a clarion call to highlight the issue of domestic violence,  and the incredibly powerful video stars two-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan and was directed by Emmy winning Irish director Dearbhla Walsh.

Hozier’s success hasn’t been confined to the US and UK with the album also achieving  multi-platinum status in Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Major TV appearances have helped spread the gospel including the show-stopping duet at the Grammys with Annie Lennox, stand-out appearances on Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, Graham Norton, Later with Jools and a performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show in London.

He has sold 1.9 million plus albums and over 10 million singles worldwide and his music has been streamed over a billion times.
