There was an amazing showing for Island artists at the Brit nominations last night, with a grand total of 8 nominations across the label!

Following on from her no. 1 album success last week, Florence + the Machine received 3 nominations, for Best British Female, British album and British Breakthrough.

Mika is up for Best British Male, while Ladyhawke has been nominated for Best International Female.

In the Best British Single category, Tinchy Stryder (feat. N-Dubz) and Taio Cruz are going head to head with Number 1 and Break Your Heart both battling for the award.

The debut album from Keane, ‘Hopes and Fears’, has been nominated for Best Brits Album of 30 Years.

With an impressive array of nominations and Florence + the Machine set to perform on the night, the Brits show on 16th February looks set to be a great night!

On Thursday 28th October Devlin will be debuting his all-new live band show at The Underworld in Camden, London. He will be performing exclusive tracks from his forthcoming, highly anticipated debut album, Bud, Sweat and Beers along with a selection of classic material. The Underworld music venue is one of the foremost clubs to see both up and coming, and well established live acts. Despite its modest capacity of around 500 people, the venue has hosted major acts like The Darkness, Radiohead and Sheryl Crow.
